We’re thrilled to have been commissioned by the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust to provide an exciting new pop-up studio project for the Forensic Intensive Psychological Treatment Service at Brixton’s Lambeth Hospital.
This service for people in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark with personality disorders who are identified as presenting a high risk of causing serious harm to others will draw on our expertise gained through extensive work over the past 10 years in both in-patient and community forensic mental health settings.
The Forensic Intensive Psychological Treatment Service Aims to reduce and manage risk in the least restrictive environment possible, reduce personality pathology and associated suffering and distress, increase adaptive behaviours in the areas of relationships, employment, education and community integration and promote independence and improved quality of life.
Our specially trained music industry producers and musicians will offer pro-social activities including songwriting, composition, vocal coaching, beat-making, production and recording which will aim to develop creative, communication, technical and vocational skills, engage patients with psychological treatment, and open pathways to mainstream education, training and employment opportunities.
