Healthy London Partnership invited a group of our young rappers to produce a rap for the NHS in London’s #AskAboutAsthma campaign.
The artists took part in lyric writing workshops that explored the messages of the campaign and also their own experiences of the disease – which is a serious health issue amongst young people in the city.
The track and video have kick started a challenge for young Londoners to submit a rap entry to the #AsthmaRapChallenge challenge that aims to get children and young people learning about how to take care of asthma in a fun and engaging way.
Anyone aged 30 or under, living in London can enter the competition by accessing the beat and submitting their own version. The winning artist chosen by a panel of music industry judges will receive a free recording studio session at Key Changes Central London studios.
