#livinglyrics is an exciting programme of music activities for young people experiencing mental health problems.

If you’re a singer, songwriter, rapper, musician or producer, aged 25 or under, and affected by an issue such as: anxiety, depression, eating problem, ADHD, autism, Asperger’s, bipolar disorder post-traumatic stress, schizophrenia, personality disorder, self-harm, or psychosis #livinglyrics could help you build resilience through developing creative, technical and vocational skills in studio sessions with music industry mentors, concert and festival performances, training and work experience opportunities.

#livinglyrics is produced by Key Changes, a charity that provides music services in hospitals and the community for people affected by mental health problems, and is part of the Word Festival of reading, writing and freedom of expression. To take part you’ll need to be referred by someone who is helping you with your mental health (e.g counsellor, key worker, social worker, Care Coordinator or GP).
